The next update for Skyrim Special Edition is now available. This update adds support for Xbox One X. For a full list of features supporting Xbox One X, please see our article on Bethesda.net. I would just like to mention that this video is grossly outdated, and there are a few reasons why this video will never be updated. I no longer have a cracked copy, since the Special Edition is coming soon, I bought the game on Steam. My ISP recently started cracking down on torrents and this makes it a lot harder to pirate games, therefore I cant verify files I link anymore. I would take this video down, but due to a contract that I can't go into detail about, I'm no longer allowed to edit this video in any way, hence this comment rather than an annotation. I will delete the description of the video and post this comment there, however, with Skyrim Special Edition releasing soon, and it being free to anyone who already owns Skyrim on Steam, I would highly recommend buying the Legendary Edition on Steam and you'd never have to worry about finding these updates yourself. Via Steam, it automatically downloads it for you. That or you use reverify your game cache via Steam. That's the only way you update your game; there's no 'finding' an update anywhere else. You can check your game by hitting ESC and checking the version number or locate the exe for Skyrim in the Steam folder and right click it to check the version number. If you've installed Skyrim past March 20, 2013 you're on the latest patch. If you had it installed before that date, it depends on what you've set Steam to do with patches to games, which then you'd probably have to re-verify/reinstall. Edit; Spaced things out a tad. I really hate my keyboard. Edited by pheo3309, 31 October 2014 - 03:44 AM. Winner of more than 200 Game of the Year Awards, Skyrim Special Edition brings the epic fantasy to life in stunning detail. If you have had the Razor version of the game previously installed, you have to go to your “Documents” folder, then open the “My Games” folder. There you will find a folder named “Skyrim”, where the save game files are located. You only have to copy the saves folder, the other files in there don’t work on the new version and they will be created new when the game starts. Copy the saves and paste them to the “Skyrim Special Edition” folder which is at the same destination (Documents/My Games folder). The save files work without problems in this new edition of the game.
